Wheelborne Fuel/Beverage Bottle Bag
Wheelborne took their famous tank bag and did the most important accompanying accessory, the bottle bag. This American made bag is constructed using the same Martexin waxed canvas fabric used from their line. It also boasts YKK zippers, a top pull handle, and two 12" straps (can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the bag). This flexibility makes it easy to strap it on based on your bike or mounting configuration requirements. The interior is lined with a printed cotton canvas to add quality and protection from scratching your bottle.
This comes in two sizes: Medium and Large. As for the bottles that go inside, it can vary in terms of ounces. Each bottle manufacturer comes in different shapes and sizes.
Medium: 3.5"x 9.5"
Large: 3.75" x 11.5"
A Word From Sy: For some, this may not apply. However, if you are like me, I barely look at my gauge or let alone my tank. Heck, I have a XS650 that doesn't have any gauges at all! So how does this bag apply to you? Well, I ran out of gas, and you could too. This gives you piece of mind that you won't get stranded out there because of it. This is especially important for you peanut tank riders with limited travel. Fill yourself a bottle with a little fuel stabilizer and strap it on for a little insurance.
And if you are like my wife, she is into carrying large insulated water bottles, which is another perfect use for it.
For reference, we have a 22oz. MSR fuel bottle that fits nicely in the Medium bag. I have also heard that people used a 30oz. Nalgene bottle that fit in the same bag, snugly of course. The measurements above are soft numbers as you will have some wiggle room in there.
